Affiliate Disclosure
StackReview is reader-supported. This page explains exactly what that means, so you always know how we make money and how it does — and doesn't — affect what you read.

We participate in affiliate programs
StackReview participates in affiliate programs with some of the software vendors we review, including SaaS platforms and hosting providers. If you click certain links on this site and go on to buy a subscription or plan, we may earn a commission.
It never costs you more
You never pay extra for buying through one of our links. The price you see is the price the vendor charges everyone; the commission comes out of the vendor's marketing budget, not your pocket. In some cases an affiliate link may even carry a reader discount.
Commissions never influence our editorial
This is the part that matters most. Commissions never influence scores, rankings, pros and cons, or verdicts. Specifically:
- No vendor can pay to raise a score, change a rating, or soften a criticism.
- No vendor sees a review before it is published, and none has editing rights.
- We do not run sponsored or paid-placement reviews.
- Our review order and rankings are based on our testing and scoring rubric, never on commission rates.
- We publish critical reviews of tools we have affiliate relationships with, and we link to competitors — including ones that pay us nothing.
We only recommend tools we've actually used
Every tool we cover is bought on our own account and used for real, day-to-day work before we write a word. We don't rehash marketing pages or publish reviews of software we haven't tested hands-on. You can read the full process on our methodology page.
How we mark affiliate links
Outbound links to a vendor's site — including the "Visit [tool]" buttons on our review pages — may be affiliate links. Wherever affiliate links appear, we show a short disclosure line at the top of the article and again in the footer, and every review page links back to this page.
Links to documentation, news reports, research, and competitor comparisons are ordinary links and earn us nothing.
Amazon and other programs
Where we participate in a program that requires specific wording, we honour it. As of the date above, our affiliate relationships are limited to SaaS vendor and hosting partner programs; we will update this page as that changes.
