StackReview is an independent blog publishing in-depth, hands-on reviews of SaaS products. We are not owned by, funded by, or affiliated with any of the vendors we cover.
Why we exist
Choosing software is expensive in more ways than price. A bad pick costs months of migration, half-adopted workflows, and a team that quietly goes back to spreadsheets. Yet most "reviews" online are rewritten marketing pages by someone who never opened the product.
So we buy the tools, use them for real work, and write down what actually happened — including the parts vendors would rather we skipped. Every review says plainly who the tool suits and who should walk away.
How we stay honest
We never run sponsored reviews, and no vendor can pay to change a score, a ranking, or a verdict. Nobody sees a review before it's published.
We do use affiliate links: if you buy through some of the links on this site, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. That's how independent reviewing gets paid for. Those relationships never influence our scores, rankings, or what we choose to cover — the full detail is in our affiliate disclosure.
How we test and score
Two weeks minimum of real work per tool, our own money on the seats, and a five-point rubric covering ease of use, feature depth, value, reliability, and support.
